DESCRIPTION:Pack 4686 has been invited to tour the Edis Hook Coast Guard Base. Scouts will work on advancements related to first responders and conduct a beach clean-up service project. SUMMARY:Independence Day Parade
DESCRIPTION:Come join us as we celebrate the nation’s birthday by marching with our charter organization\, the Lions\, in the Port Angeles 4th of July Parade. \nMeet at the Chevron gas station on Valley Street\, where the parade staging will occur. Arrive between 4:30 and 5:00 to allow for a pop-up tailgate with burgers\, dogs\, chips\, and drinks to fuel us for the parade march. \nThe road closes at 5:30\, and the parade begins at 6:00. We are in spot #7\, which is very close to the front of the parade. The parade waits for no one so please allow plenty of time to park and join us in a relaxed way. Parking can be tricky\, but I have had success finding spots with easy access to the staging area in the alley east of Morningside. Bring a wagon and fun parade supplies like snacks\, etc\, to keep yourself comfortable and happy. The forecast is for a beautiful sunny day with temps in the low 70s\, so be prepared with sun protection and ways to keep cool on the parade route.
