About Us
Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 4686, the heartbeat of adventure and community in Port Angeles, Washington. We are the oldest scout pack in the United States, having served the children of our community for over a century.
We invite kids from Kindergarten through 5th grade to join our exciting journey of exploration and growth.
We are part of the Peninsulas Territory of Chief Seattle Council. And we’re proud to have the Port Angeles Lion’s Club as our charter organization.
When do you meet?
Every Tuesday, during the school year, our pack gathers at the historic Naval Elks Lodge in Port Angeles. Your child will dive into fun and learning here. They’ll have fun with friends while dedicated leaders provide guidance. Our meetings blend hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, and character-building experiences. They ensure every scout has a blast while gaining valuable life skills.
What can you expect?
Imagine your child camping under starlit skies, hiking scenic trails, and engaging in meaningful service projects that make a real difference. Our popcorn sales teach responsibility and teamwork, while our annual Pinewood Derby and Raingutter Regatta let creativity and friendly competition shine as scouts design, build, and race their own cars and boats.
Pack 4686 isn’t just about activities; it’s about creating lifelong memories and friendships. It’s about instilling values like respect, responsibility, and resilience. It’s about being part of something bigger – a legacy of over a century that continues to shape future leaders.
Join us at Cub Scout Pack 4686, where adventure awaits and every scout’s potential is nurtured. Let’s embark on this incredible journey together, building brighter futures and stronger communities. Welcome to the adventure!
